I wounder if the VoiceOver would work on iPod shuffle if I don't buy songs form iTunes. I just download. I mean will it still read the names of the songs?

Can't post the wallpaper for obvious reasons. I used a right click to cover the area :D. Also, I am a photographer so please excuse the icons labeled "nude, schoolgirl,suicidegirls, etc. :o) ) If anyone is interested, I have 1080p of the wallpaper that I can email. PM me your email address.

ok having downloaded the 10.5.8 update and reloaded brand new copies of Chud and Nap i'm still getting the same message:

I always enjoy watching the keynotes; Steve is an engaging speaker, and did a great demo for the new iPhone. I was waffling between the 'good' and 'missing something' choice on the poll, since I really wanted to find out more about stuff I could actually buy (Airport Express, iWork, etc.), but they Keynote was good for what it concentrated on. Ultimately, it just needs to be an exercise in patience, as I have good feelings about what 2007 will ultimately bring. And since I'm locked in to another year of T-Mobile, I won't even start to consider an iPhone until 08 (although that won't stop me from going in to play with one sometime this summer! :D ).

Top left corner of GPU looks burnt to me. Maybe it's bad picture quality, but if it's burnt really (what makes it DOA), it may explain why thermal paste is baked on.

You are obviously missing the point. Apple's new subscription model is preventing choice from coming to it's customers. How is that not a bad thing?
Apple's new subscription model is preventing publishers from selling our / your private information to advertisers / spammers.
If publishers want to make money and thrive they should do it by earning it and producing quality content, not by selling our private information to third parties.
I'm not saying the FT isn't a quality publisher, just saying this applies to all publishers in general.

I still don't understand what the issue is here. I can buy a DVD for almost the same amount and play it on as many devices as I want. The DVD has much better quality than the Apple downloads and has extra bonus features as well.
Oh, and part of the reason movies are now costing so much is for the exhorbitant salaries that certain actors get paid.
agreed. maybe DVDs should explode after being inserted into five different players :rolleyes:
also, maybe instead of paying Tom Cruise et al $25m a film (a quarter of this average 'budget'), why not get decent actors? or the studios agree more reasonable salaries. i mean, i couldn't even spend that much money. there are only so many apple products :D

uhm, Hi,
I was sorta of wondering. Is there anyway to make a completly seperate Ical window, so that you have to Icals, not just one Ical with different color options.
I know this can be done by creating a new login, but i wanted to see if it can be done for the same login.

For the icons I am using Flurry (http://iconfactory.com/search/freeware/flurry) for my entire system. There is a total of 5 packs you can find in that link. And for others like specific folders and apps you can find a lot on DeviantArt (http://browse.deviantart.com/customization/icons/?qh=§ion=&q=flurry)
As for the stacks list view I use Tinkertool (http://www.bresink.com/osx/TinkerTool.html). Its a free app for accessing hidden OS X features, just click on the "dock" tab and beside "stacks" tick off "use large, grid-like style for list view"

I do. although by no means extensive, and I didn't like the interface, and it didn't seem faster or cooler, but that's just my opinion.
may i suggest the free mplayerx from the app store, you might wanna give it a go, it seems pretty robust and lightweight.

Yes, that is an issue for concern. However, how is this relevant to gay rights? Despite the birth rate in the UK being around 2 (1.96 if I remember correctly) there are, sadly, plenty of children/babies in need of a good home. Recently, the law was changed to ensure homosexuals would be able to adopted children if they want. Lesbian couples could also ask for a donor, and gay couples for a surrogate.
We need to move beyond the idea that marriage is about a man and a women reproducing. Firstly, it isn't about that. Secondly, there is no reason same-sex couples can't raise just as many children as heterosexual couples.

In civil court....you are correct. In criminal court...no dice. In a criminal court the prosector has to prove that the defendant has violated the LETTER OF LAW. Clearly the seller didn't in this case.
Civil court judges have much more freedom to interpret law (and intent) than criminal.
I think the seller did violate the law.
